Aiming for implementation of e-governance on its campus, the Jamia Millia Islamia University is now preparing to be the country's first varsity with an e-file tracking system for its various departments.

This intranet file tracking software, developed by the FTK-Centre for Information Technology (FTK-CIT) of the university, will enable authorised users to monitor the movement and tracking of their respective files or papers within the university.

In continuation of University Notices dated 23rd & 28th June,2010, are
hereby informed that due to non availability of sanctioned intakes for these programmes, the counselling/admission for these programmes is postponed till further notice. Candidates are advised to check the University’s website (www.ipu.ac.in) for details of fresh counselling schedules.

1st Counselling Schedule for MBA (SEM), Test Code-29
programme for the session 2010-11 has been shared by ggsipu .
The Counselling process for MBA-SEM programme will start after Counselling process for Test Code-02 i.e. MBA/MBA-PT is over.
The 1st Counselling Schedule for MBA-SEM Test Code-29 programme will be displayed/notified on the University Website on 29th June, 2010 (Tuesday).

Counselling Schedule for MBA & BBA programmes for the session
2010-11 to commence on 22nd June 2010.
The Counselling for MBA & BBA programme will commence from 22.06.2010

As per as latest information from the IP , counseling dates for the below mentioned programmes will be displayed on coming 21st June .

3. MPT (Neurology, Musculoskeletal & Sports)
4. MOT(Neurology & Musculoskeletal)

For the programmes for which Common Entrance Tests are being conducted, the University will prepare a list of qualified candidates separately for each Test Code in order of merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the said Tests.
All the admissions will be made through two counsellings to be conducted by the University .There will be no third counselling.

A Summer Training Program on “Mobile architecture & Programming” is being organized by by IGIT, IP University in collaboration with Nokia (From 31-05-2010 to 09-07-2010) .

IP University has declared the time period of summer vacations for the academic session 2009-2010 .

the summer vacations for the academic session 2009-2010 will be from May 24th 2010 to July 2nd 2010 i.e total of 6 weeks for all university college and IGIT . For affiliated institutes, the schedule is June 6 - July 31.
