International Convention on Solar Photovoltaic Technologies at GGSIPU (5th Oct 20009)

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) in collaboration with the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) is organizing an International Convention on Solar Photovoltaic Technology: A precursor to ICORE 2009, and a Poster Presentation Competition on the 5th of October 2009.

Robotics Workshop at IGIT (9th - 11th Oct 2009)

This Workshop intends to actively engage promising young engineering students in the fields of electronics, robotics and embedded computer systems areas of ever-increasing importance to this nation’s goals in communications, transportation, and space exploration.

The Counselling schedule for admission for the academic session 2009 has been released by the University. First let me congratulate everyone who has been called to attend the counselling session. I hope they will get the college of their choice.

The counseling will be starting in few days and I know all of your are anxiously waiting for your name to appear in the counseling list. I know that you guys have lot of questions in your mind like "Which college can I get at 478 rank???" and "I am from ODGEN I want to know that best colleges for BBA in IP University??". It is perfectly ok to ask such obvious questions and that's what this site is for, to help all of you and clear your confusion.

The common admission test (CAT) will finally go online from 2009. All of you who are interested in pursuing their MBA in Indian Institute of Management or any other institute that accept CAT scores will now be ready for the computer based test for CAT.

The CAT, scores which decides admission to the IIMs located in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Indore, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Shillong, will now be a Computer Based Test (CBT), a statement issued by IIM-Bangalore. The proposal for making it online was in discussion for the last couple of years but this year the decision has been taken and IIMs would have tough time implementing this new system.

Why Bike Ride?

It is the easiest and environmental way, no pollution, no hassles. Even if you don't have a bicycle, you can hire one from Delhi University Metro Station @ Rs 10 Only/- on showing your college ID card (they might keep a copy). The bicycles are available from 7am to 9pm. Quite a time that is to do our business.

All the aspiring student of GGSIPU can now find out the college where they can probably get admission. Just enter your CET 2009 rank and the system will compare it with the last year cutoffs and display the list of colleges.

The last date for obtaining Admission Brochures I, II and III and submitting the filled-in Application Forms is 21st April, 2009 whereas, for Admission Brochure-
IV the last date for obtaining and submitting applications is 26th March, 2009.

5. Fill up ON LINE application form
6. Submit your application form ON LINE
7. Pay ON LINE using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/Itz Cash Card
8. Pay Cash to branch of 152/3,Mohan Bhawan, Sarai Jullena, Near Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi-110025.
9. Get Acknowledgement Slip ON LINE.
10. Will Get Entrance Hall Ticket ON LINE. (in your email and Locker)
