Nissar Ahmed

Nissar Ahmed a.k.a. NSR is a 3rd year student of Mechanical Engineering studying at NIEC. He describes himself as a friendly guy who loves to make new friends. He love to live every moment of his life and his motto of life is "Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry."

Nissar tell us why did you choose to do Mechanical Engineering?

I always knew I wanted to do Mechanical Engineering. Since my early days of life I have been influenced deeply with the machines and I always wanted to learn more about the way different machine operate. I am glad that that I got an opportunity to learn more about this field.

Great! that justifies your decision. At least you didn't follow the Rat race like everyone else. So, what are your future plans after completing this course?

I would love to do my dream job - Team engineer in F1 and later I would like to go for an MBA.

Wow F1! We wish you all the best for your future. So are you the one who bunk classes or a book worm studious types?

Yes I do bunk classes sometimes. I try to maintain the balance of fun and studies. College is the place where you get to do so much like going out for movies, partying etc. For me missing classes occasionally is ok :)

So it seems that you enjoy spending time in college.

Yeah, in college apart from studies I get to spend time with my friend and I always enjoy the time in company of people I like. I mean after college life will never be so care free and relaxed. College is the place where we come to study but apart from academics it is a fun place to be. I can't even imagine how life would be like after 1 year when I will pass out.

That's right! Colleges days are definitely the best days of life. How do you commute to college? Bus?

Sometimes by car sometime by bus/auto rickshaw.

Let talk something serious now. Tell me overall are you satisfied with the college your are studying?

No, there is still lot needs to be done. I would love to make some changes in every field for the welfare of students. I faced many problems when I joined this college 3 years back. My college is good but there are still lot of scope for improvement.

One thing that you would like to change about the education system (please explain)?

I would really love make a dynamic education system to adapt things time to time. In today's time a static education system can't work because every time you want to amend the laws you have to fight with the whole pseudo dynamic system and by the time you implement that change even that change has to be amended.

Al right! What are your hobbies (what do you do in your free time)?

I love to spend time with my friends and my family. I am a sports freak and cricket is my passion, though I also love playing football. Besides sports I also like surfing on the net and I really enjoy discovering new quotes.

Any achievements? (personal/academic)?

My friends. I think "The best thing to achieve in life is not a thing but its friends"
