What we have noticed in the past years that GGSIPU doesn't have a very active placement cells. since it is a new University it is difficult for students to find their first job. We are trying to build an active database of students and companies. This will help both the students and the companies to find each other.

No need of sending any Cover Letter
Cover letters are not important at all when applying for the job. Companies don't need them. Just mention your job objective clearly in your resume.

Be precise. No one reads long resume
Short resumes are the best. They will get noticed first, so need to write about your hobbies. Companies are not interested in finding about your personal lives, they also don't want to know about your pets but at the same time don't hide your achievements. Mention your extra curricular activities. If you have won an prize in debate, sports or secured first rank in your class. Mention them all.
